Haha yes they're pretty iconic aren't they? There's a watertrough outside my house where they come and drink; when they land their tails fan out like flashes of fire...but they're very shy- I waited days for a breeding pair to brave up and come to drink- and they'd just landed when my sister started to vaccum- they flew away! *SOB!*

Yes, I used to live in the U.S. so when I moved here to Australia... I thought it was the coolest thing to see these as wild...
